There is great interest in next year's major investment in the fish and aquaculture industry. HavExpo will be held for the first time in Bergen in May 2022 and most of the exhibition space has already been sold.
HavExpo will be held for the first time at Sotra near Bergen in May 2022 and will from the first year be a trade fair that attracts large parts of the Norwegian fishing and aquaculture industry.
The fair will embrace both farming and deep-sea fishing. Thus, it will be the first fair in Norway which i.a. gathers all the common resources in the industries for both exhibitors, visitors and speakers.
HavExpo aims to become one of the largest gathering points in the industries from the first year, and is arranged in Straume Idrettspark in Øygarden municipality.
Fish in the broadest sense is one of Norway's most important industries with a value creation of almost NOK 100 billion. HavExpo will bring together the entire supplier industry for fishing and aquaculture under the «same roof». This will provide synergies for both industries where i.a. Technological innovation and idea creation can take place across.
HavExpo will be the efficient trade fair that creates business for both exhibitors and visitors.
This means that we carry out the fair in 2 effective days, where our focus is to facilitate so that all parties can easily find each other, conduct presentations and run short meetings with "speed-dating" in collaboration with NCE Seafood and GCE Ocean Technology.
