HavExpo 2024 - a summary

This year's exhibition is now wrapped up, and we can look back on some very hectic days at Sotra. A record was set for both the number of visitors and the number of hours of sunshine, which we could clearly see around lunchtime on the outdoor terrace.
We hope our exhibitors and visitors have had some useful, valuable and not least profitable exhibition days.

Many of this year's public holidays fell at the beginning of May in 2024, which meant that the trade fair week would have a day off at the beginning or end of the week regardless of which week the trade fair was held. We were therefore a little excited to see if this would affect the number of visitors to the fair, but even though we (as expected) had a somewhat quieter 3rd day than in 2022, we achieved a visitor record!

The goal was 15,000 visitors, so with 14,700 visitors in total on these three days, we as a trade fair organizer are well satisfied. The number of visitors was distributed as follows;

Monday 4,153
Tuesday 7,467
Wednesday 3,132

HavExpo 2024 was officially opened by State Secretary Even Sagebakken and County Mayor Jon Askeland.

Thereafter, the conferences were held every 15 minutes throughout Monday and Tuesday in halls C and D.

Many of this year's exhibitors spent both time and resources on building beautiful, inspiring and inviting stands. Stingray's 2-story building was a great eye-catcher, and together with many other great stands, we are sure that this provides inspiration to both visitors and other exhibitors.

With beautiful Monday weather, it was a nice day to enjoy an outdoor lunch, and not least a good hamburger at the evening barbeque party.

Afterwards we went to Zachariasbryggen, which for the occasion was renamed Havbryggen....

We would like to say a big thank you to all our exhibitors for helping to make HavExpo perhaps the industry's best and most valuable meeting place - and we are already looking forward to meeting you again in 2026.
